Supported eSIM models:After purchasing a Lucky SIM product, you will receive an eSIM QR Code via email for installation and activation
Not supporting eSIM models, only Android models:Just insert the new technology "eMaster SIM" card, and switch at any time through the "Lucky eMaster" Android management App. Even Hong Kong mobile phones can do it, up to 10 cards, which solves the limitations of not supporting eSIM in the past. Tablet computers such as iPad eSIM versions cannot make calls or receive SMS. If you are unable to complete real-name registration/data account query, please contact Lucky SIM official customer service for assistance.
Pay attention to the SMS confirmation message of the contact number (it will be displayed if a new Hong Kong number is attached). You will receive an eSIM QR Code/ activation code via Email later for installation on your phone / mobile device. The contact number and email must be correct because the system cannot be changed or resent, and each eSIM QR Code can only be installed once. If the old mobile phone eSIM is transferred to a new mobile phone, only LuckySIM with a real-name registered Hong Kong number can purchase a new eSIM card. (Lucky2 only allows one-time eSIM installation, and does not allow re-issuance or card transfer under any circumstances )
After installing the eSIM , if you are overseas, you need to turn on the data roaming setting on your phone / mobile device ( even if you have not purchased data roaming, you need to turn it on, there is no extra charge ) , and select a local carrier to receive SMS . If you cannot activate it, please restart your phone.
If the validity period shown on the SMS is not in accordance with the original purchase plan, please complete the real-name registration as soon as possible and the expiration date will be changed.
If you have a Hong Kong number, or use Internet data in Hong Kong and Taiwan, you also need to register with your real name to activate it. The registration details will be provided by email
In order to comply with the latest arrangements of OFCA, after completing the registration, the telephone prepaid card cannot be used yet and will be manually checked, which will take several hours to up to 2 working days. Once the information is verified, Lucky SIM will notify the customer via SMS.
【Usage Instructions】
To activate any local voice (LuckySIM local phone number), any Hong Kong local and Taiwan data packages, you must first complete the real-name registration procedure before you can activate the package and use it. After real-name registration, the telephone stored-value card cannot be used yet, and the authorities still need to verify your registration information. It may take up to 2 working days to verify the information. After the information is verified, the official will notify you via SMS. As with general eSIM usage, once an eSIM is installed, it cannot be installed again in another mobile phone or eMaster SIM for free. But you can put your eMaster SIM card into another phone and use it normally.
Each eSIM must be used before the last activation date, otherwise it will become invalid.
Once the eSIM is installed, it will be activated and the usage date will start to be calculated.
